There are no set ‘in-house’ caterers at Dodmoor House which means you have the flexibility to find a catering firm which fits your exact needs for your special day. We offer the choice of  two recommended caterers, Portfolio Events and Lemon Zest, who serve tasty, locally-sourced and freshly-cooked food at extremely competitive rates, or you may bring in your own preferred caterer - it's up to you!

Should you decide to go for your own caterers, we are very happy to accommodate this, but please just note there would be an additional £60 (2024/25) outside catering fee (payable with your final balance two months before the wedding). We will liaise with your caterers throughout the planning process and on the day itself. The outside catering fee is not applicable if you use Portfolio Events or Lemon Zest.

Please remember when gathering quotes that our regular caterers will automatically include table linen, crockery and cutlery along with staff to lay up the tables, as well as the service and clearing of the food and disposal of rubbish. You will need to arrange external hire of these items if your caterer is not able to provide them, or make alternative arrangements if they cannot provide staff for table laying and service.

There is also lots of choice for your evening food which can be booked through us, such as a hog roast or burger bar, but please feel free to choose your own supplier for the evening too - we've had everything from fish and chips to Mexican food trucks! There is no additional outside catering fee in the evening but please ensure that your evening caterer provides enough staff to serve/clear away food and removes all rubbish to avoid any extra charges.
