Summer at Dodmoor is full of light! The longer days mean plenty of natural daylight for photography, giving you more time to capture those golden, sun-filled moments throughout the day.
A summer drinks reception on the lawn is always a highlight - guests can spill outside, enjoy a refreshing drink, and making use of our garden games. Why not prolong the celebrations outdoors and opt for your speeches outside?!
As the evening draws in, the courtyard becomes a hub of activity. Positioned right next to the Catesby Barn, guests can enjoy the early evening atmosphere outside while still being within earshot of the music, creating a lovely flow between spaces. A pop-up bar in the courtyard adds to the laid-back, holiday feel.
We’re also well prepared for those really warm days. Portable fans are available, the getting-ready room is equipped with an air-conditioning unit, and ceiling fans in the Catesby Barn help keep everyone comfortable throughout the celebrations.
And of course, summer wouldn’t be complete without signature seasonal drinks — a chilled glass of Pimm’s in the sunshine feels perfectly at home at Dodmoor on the lawn! Rest assured - we will provide the ice!
