Customer service means everything to us and we have won numerous awards as we passionately believe in giving your wedding the personal touch it deserves and providing you with the service that you deserve!
But as this lovely review from Tim and Nicky indicates, we can sometimes be a bit shy about promoting everything we do behind the scenes to make sure that your special day is as perfect as it can possibly be.
So we wanted to give you this insight into all the help that we will offer you throughout your fantastic wedding journey with us - as well as on the big day itself!

Inquiries and viewings:
We always try to respond to inquiries and emails within 12 hours (hopefully quicker!) and we try to be as flexible as possible with our viewing slots, either on midweek early evenings or Saturday mornings - with one of our friendly coordinators there to show you round and find out exactly what you're looking for and what YOU want for your special day.

We will send you a comprehensive email of everything we have discussed, including price breakdowns for for potential wedding dates as we don't like to hide anything from you and keep everything open and easy!

You always have the chance to hold a date for two weeks for free so you have some time to make such a big decision and if you then - hopefully! - confirm your booking with us, that's where the fun really begins!
Open evenings and meetings:
There are plenty of us coordinators within Team Dodmoor, meaning you are always welcome to speak with any member of the team, at any time! We would always encourage you to call or email us with any questions you may have - however big or small - as we are happy to help with whatever you might need!
Along your planning journey, you will be invited to useful open evenings, which are a great way for you to meet a variety of our recommended suppliers, taste some food from our recommended caterers and try our wine and cocktail choices provided within our drinks packages!
Final planning stages:
Further into your planning journey, you will be assigned a personal wedding coordinator and meet them at your main planning meeting around 2-3 months before your wedding, when we go through everything in detail, so that nothing is left to chance on the day itself.
This meeting usually signifies the start of a great relationship between coordinator and yourselves, we love building close bonds with our couples and getting to know what makes you, you! Yours will be the only wedding that any of us will coordinate that week (and often that fortnight) so it gives us the time to dedicate to you and all your plans.

Following this meeting, your coordinator will send you all the paperwork detailing your day, complete with timelines- these documents really makes the day feel real! All our couples definitely leave this meeting feeling so excited, yet at ease that everything is coming together nicely!
We will also liaise with all your suppliers following this meeting, so that there are no surprises on the day and everyone knows exactly what they are meant to be doing and there is nothing left to chance!
Your coordinator will meet with you the day before too, just to check any final bits and allow you to drop off all of your 'wedding items', such as decorative bits, drinks (if you're taking advantage of the no-corkage period and providing your own beverages!) and possibly outfits/shoes. We will take everything from you (hopefully freeing up some space in your car AND house!), and then go over any last minute questions!

The big day!:
Your coordinator will be present on the big day itself for anything you may need as our main aim is for you to relax and enjoy the day, and really not need to worry about a thing! From the very start of the day we will be ensuring the venue is set correctly, welcoming suppliers and displaying your decor.
We will keep an eye on timings throughout the day to make sure everything is happening as and when it should. Usually when we appear to tell you what is happening next, as you have no concept of what time it is, because you are having too much fun to notice!

We are here for the little jobs (like pinning on buttonholes) and the bigger jobs (like prepping you for the aisle walk and getting those good vibes going) but not forgetting the extra jobs that prove we're all friends here (like applying that last spritz of perfume on your veil, wiping the lipstick off your cheek and fluffing your dress as you are about to walk into your ceremony!)
Alongside your wedding coordinator, we will also have a fabulous team who will move the furniture, light the candles, playing your aisle walk song and make sure everybody has a drink at all times! We will crack on behind the scenes, leaving you to just enjoy your day.
All Dodmoor staff are employed and trained directly by us (not by the caterer and not by an outside agency) and that makes us feel even more of a team. On most weddings, we will have 10-15 members of the Dodmoor team working at some point during the day or evening (and that is addition to any catering staff or other suppliers!) and we are always touched by the comments left by couples about our team.

Evening party:
Your evening party will also have its own 'Dodmoor Fairies' that come alive at night! They will be in charge of keeping the venue tidy in terms of discarding of rubbish and clearing empty glasses, replenishing sweet carts and serving you & your guests drinks from our bars or offering waitress service to your seated guests.
Again, your wedding coordinator will continue to appear just at the right time, with items needed for the evening such as flip flops for the dancefloor, glow sticks, or the knife to cut your cake with.
In the evening, your wedding coordinator will hand over to your evening manager (essentially another coordinator, just the night-time version!), they will spend lots of time in bringing them up to speed with what has already happened, but most importantly what is yet to come.
One of their main jobs is to help guests with taxis, so they will speak to all the guests and - if they have booked at one of our partner hotels with an allocation deal (click here to see more information about these deals), they will give them a taxi card that reassures them their transport is booked by us for the end of the night. However, they will also hand out recommended taxi numbers to those not on the allocation.

Another important job is to organise a sparkler arch if you're having one as although sparklers are exciting, we are very aware of the risks involved. We will organise your guests into two lines in our courtyard, light the initial sparklers for them and ensure that you safely get some stunning photos!
The end of the night:
Unfortunately, the day of your dreams has to come to an end at some point (even if your married life together is only just starting!.
When the party finishes, we will usher your guests to the correct taxis, so that you can head straight to the honeymoon suite to take in what has just happened! We will try to leave you cake and evening food in your suite, alongside your cards and gifts (and even light the candles ready for your arrival back into the room!)
The evening Dodmoor fairies (or ninjas!) will pack away all your wedding items safely, ready for you to take home with you the following morning. They will say goodbye to your evening suppliers, before locking up the venue, ready for the morning team to bring your breakfast before helping you to load your car with wedding items and check you out of the honeymoon suite - possibly to head off away on honeymoon!
