TABLE LINEN
& RUNNERS
There are so many different table layouts available for your wedding across the two barns. We do ask that all your linen is supplied by your caterers or hired from an external company.
For external companies, we would recommend:
Below we have listed all the table linen you will need for the different layouts as well as runner lengths if you'd like these too. If you are looking at chair covers please see the section below to check they will fit the chairs and they work with your plans for the day.
We will send you the exact linen you will need about six weeks before your wedding, after our day in detail meeting.
We will also confirm the linen requirements with either your caterers or supplier prior to the wedding and arrange a drop off the day before the wedding between 9am to 12pm and collection time after the wedding between 9am to 12pm from Dodmoor House.
Please be aware you may need additional cloths for a buffet, tea and coffee station and that all important cake table which are all dependant on what you are having!

:: The top table will be 12ft long, so we'd recommend a 14ft runner.
:: The left table is 26ft long, so we'd recommend a runner of 28ft.
:: The right table is 24ft long, so we'd recommend a runner of 26ft.
:: The table under the mezzanine is 10ft long, so we'd recommend a runner of 12ft.
For this layout, you will need 9 x 144" x 70" cloths
Trestles with a top table
:: The two long spurs are 30ft, so we'd recommend runners of 32ft.
:: The table under the mezzanine is 10ft long, so we'd recommend a runner of 12ft.
For this layout, you will need 7 x 144" x 70" cloths
Trestles without a top table
:: The top table is 12ft in length, so we'd recommend a 14ft runner.
:: 3 of the trestle tables will also be 12ftin length, so we'd recommend a 14ft runner.
:: 2 of the tables are 10ft long, so we'd recommend a runner of 12ft.
For this layout will need 3 x 144" x 70" cloths & 8 x 108" x 70" cloths
Split Trestle Tables
:: The tables which seat 10 guests are 5.6ft in diameter. We would recommend a runner of 7.6ft.
:: The table which seats eight guests are 5ft in diameter. We would recommend a runner of 7ft.
:: If you opt to have a straight top table with round tables for you guests, the top table would be 12ft in length. We would recommend a runner of 14ft.
Round Tables
For a straight top table and five round tables you will need 2 x 144" x 70" straight cloths and 5 x 120" or 108" round cloths
For six round tables (including the top table) you will need 6 x 120" or 108" round cloths
Round Tables
:: 2 straight tables are both 8ft in length, so 10ft runners & 2 x 144" x 70" cloths are needed.
:: The large square table (12 guests), will measure 8ft long & 5ft wide, so a 10ft runner & 2 x 144" x 70" cloths are needed.
:: The large rectangle table (14 guests) is 7.5ft long & 6ft wide. A 9.5ft long runner & 2 x 108" x 70" are needed.
:: A round table will be 5.6ft in diameter, so a 7.6ft long runner & 1 x 120" or 108" round cloth is needed.
Tables on the Mezz
:: The long banqueting table measures 36ft long and 5ft wide. We would suggest a runner of 38ft.
For this layout you will need 4 x 108" x 70" and 4 x 144" x 70" cloths.

CHAIR COVERS
OR SASHES
We have 120 chairs in total and will often move some over the the meal room after the ceremony. You will need to consider
if you are going to have chair decoration in both rooms to work out the number of covers you need. We are happy to move them between the barns but remember if you keep the number to a minimum the meal room cannot be fully set until after the ceremony is over.
We would normally leave up to 20 chairs in the Courtyard Barn after the ceremony for the drinks reception and early evening so it may be a good idea to have at least these extra over the number of guests coming, this will also allow for additional chairs set out for the ceremony.
When it is wet we would normally quickly stack and remove chairs from the ceremony room at the same time as bringing drinks into the room, please be aware that chair covers can slow this process down a little.
Chair sizes
Our chairs are 40cm (15.7in) deep x 38cm (14.9in) wide and the distance from seat to floor (ie legs) is 45cm (17.7in).
The height of the chair back from seat to top is 44cm (17.3in) and the total height from the floor to the top of the chair is 90cm (35.4in).
Table Sizes
Our trestles tables are 2'6'' (30in) wide and the distance from floor is 2'6'' (30in) high.
