George is an award winning and fantastic singer/acoustic guitarist/DJ, and is highly recommended by Dodmoor House. George creates an amazing atmosphere by performing a host of laid- back contemporary pop music with a mix of classics from the 60s, 80s & 90s -in the daytime, or a more upbeat selection for the evening- something for everyone!
George’s unique style, competitive price, flexible approach and ability to tailor the set to the needs of the client has been behind his success over recent years.
Whether you want George to sing/play in the courtyard for the early evening or kick-start your celebrations by singing the first dance in the Catesby Barn, the choice is yours! Mango Acoustic Duo
We are an 'award winning' Acoustic Duo from Leicestershire that play at over 80 Weddings & Events per year, and have done for the past 10 years, so don't worry... you're in safe hands
We play a nice mix of modern and popular tunes from the 60's to the 20's – in our relaxed intimate style. Perfect for Wedding Ceremonies, Drinks Receptions, Wedding Breakfasts and Evening Entertainment.
You can choose all the songs we play from our 'Up-to-date' setlist, and we are happy to learn a special song for you too!

Drinks Reception
While you are whisked away by your photographer, we can entertain your guests with some cool acoustic covers. We can perform 2 x 45 minute sets over this period (or 1 x 90 minute set if time is tight) and often perform outside at Dodmoor House either in the courtyard, or on the Lawn – should the lovely British weather allow!

Ariella Strings
Our friendly, award winning, professional string groups have hours of classical, pop, rock & jazz music for you to choose from.
We have three string groups to choose from - String Quartet, String Trio, and String Duo. No wedding is ever too small, and we cater for all budgets and music tastes.

Acoustik Roaming Band
Acoustik are a modern and dynamic group of musicians offering an alternative to the standard 'function' entertainment. They bring enthusiasm, energy and excitement to your special day with their own arrangements offering an innovative take on popular songs that is unique to the music industry!
What is a roaming band I hear you say! They are a group of musicians who are able to wander around your guests, totally unplugged (and free from cables!). They get right down with your guests and ready to mingle!

Paul Martyn
Paul can not only play during the evening but can keep you and your guests entertained during the drinks reception and wedding breakfast. He has worked with us since we opened the venue and is an extremely accomplished and versatile performer.
Paul performs as a solo vocalist and saxophonist accompanied by backing tracks and is also a professional DJ. He has all the necessary state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment necessary to provide you with the very best musical entertainment.
He can sing and play a range of music types including: easy listening, swing and jazz, as well as lots of party tunes for your evening!

Alison Eve
Ali can provide elegant and delightful background music for your ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast. The harp creates a romantic feel to your day and Ali can play a variety of traditional and classical styles to suit all tastes.

IIan’s superb saxophone sounds will create a great atmosphere for your big day!
We find that saxophone works especially well during the drinks reception and early evening, getting guests into the wedding party mood….(Ian has even been known to get guests dancing during the drinks reception which you don’t see very often!)
Mark Elliot
Mark is an accomplished singer, pianist and guitar player with a decade of experience performing live (as well as being able to DJ for your evening celebrations too!).
Mark plays feel good covers from 60's right up to modern chart in a style that combines love and expertise of guitar and piano with a soulful vocal.
Normally plays live during your ceremony, offering 1x45min set of live acoustic music during welcome drinks and then in the evening perform 2x45min sets of live upbeat acoustic music!
Once your first dance is underway (which I can also sing live!), he also offers a DJ set until the end of party with a full light show.

Sonora Mariachi Band
Sonora Mariachi Band are a fun trio of acoustic musicians who wander amongst your guests whilst performing an eclectic mix of pop songs in a Mariachi style.

Govannen
Govannen are an exciting and lively, four piece Ceilidh band, who are guaranteed to get everyone (yes, everyone!) on to the dance floor.
There are always a handful of guests who won’t dance because they think they can’t….well Govannen will show them the ropes!
Whilst the Irish whistle is being blown and the violin is being played, the caller will guide you and your guests through the dance steps…
This is a really fun type of evening entertainment… you won’t be able to stop your guests jigging by the end of the evening.

The Duplettes
The Duplettes offer an Acoustic Duo, Cocktail Trio for daytime events such as wedding ceremonies and drinks receptions, while the Party Band and Electric Medley Duo are available when the brief is to get guests up and dancing.
