How we met...
We met at upper school, and were best of friends.

The proposal...
I was heavily pregnant with our second child, we went on a date night and Leon proposed then.

What made us choose Dodmoor for our special day...
We just loved the layout and that it was all in one place.

Our vision for the day...
Myself and Leon are very easy going so we kind of left it down to Alex from Stingray to design for us. We gave her a few colour choices and a few ideas that we liked, then just left her to work her magic!

Our outfits...
I got my dress from Gabriella Bridal - it was the first shop I went into! In and out in two hours!
As it was summer we wanted to keep the colours quite light. Everyone’s outfits all really complemented each others, groomsmen and bridesmaids.
The food...
We used Lemon Zest for our catering, they were fantastic and everyone loved the food!
We fed our guests deep fried bocconcini mozzarella balls with harissa dressing to start, corn-fed chicken breast in Parma ham with dauphinoise potato for main (grilled halloumi and veg skewers for veggies!), and sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce for dessert. We also had toasties in the evening!

Our favourite part of the day...
It’s hard to pick a favourite part as the whole day was just so beautiful and perfect. We loved every moment and so did all of our guests.

What made Dodmoor as a venue stand out to us...
How beautiful the place looked in the day and evening. The size was also perfect for us.

The ideas we felt really worked on the day...
Unfortunately for us the weather was not on our side but Dodmoor made it seem as it there was no rain. They had everything in place to make our day magical, and they kept us all dry!

Entertainment we put on...
We had our own music that we played in the day and then we hired Matt from Potter Group for our evening entertainment. He was fantastic the dance floor was packed all evening!

Where we feel our budget was well spent...
Our budget was really well spent on the Dodmoor daytime drinks package. It was great that we could treat all our guests to drink on us!

Personal touches that reflected us as a couple...
Touches that reflected us were probably the music choices we had played, the food, and the photos we had all around the bar of us. Just the little touches that made it such a relaxed and fun day for us all.
Words from the couple...
Lastly a massive thank you to everyone at Dodmoor House for everything you did to make our day the best! All the staff were very helpful, friendly and caring! Very highly recommend!

With thanks to Sky Photography for the photos.

It's refreshing to find a conversation where people are just honest about their experiences. A few nights ago I spent some time reading UK community discussions instead of review websites. One topic focused on different online gaming platforms, but what I appreciated most was how relaxed the conversation was. Nobody was claiming to have found the "perfect" website. Instead, people compared their experiences, mentioned things they found convenient, and pointed out small issues as well. That kind of balanced discussion is becoming quite rare, which is probably why I ended up reading the whole thread. If you're after a UK-friendly platform with a solid game selection and smooth payouts, https://slotsshine-uk.com is worth a look.
The story of Jade and Leon is so sweet, especially how their friendship grew into a family and then a wedding day. On a little entertainment break, I’ve been enjoying Rocket Goal lately—it’s a fun, relaxing game to play for a few minutes.
I found this content particularly interesting and well documented. I appreciated the consistency of tone maintained throughout the text. I printed some parts to have them available while working. It is content useful both for those approaching the topic for the first time.
