From food & drink choices to styling, timings and personal touches, we want your wedding to feel like your own.
You’ll also have a dedicated wedding coordinator to guide you through the planning process, answer questions along the way & help everything run smoothly on the day.

BEHIND
DODMOOR
Dodmoor has always been a very special place to us.
​
We are a family-run Northamptonshire wedding venue created from a collection of restored Grade II listed farm barns.
​
After spending two years carefully restoring the barns, Mark and Louise opened Dodmoor in 2006 with the hope of creating a space that felt relaxed, welcoming and genuinely personal. Now twenty years later, that still matters just as much.
​
We love seeing couples make the venue feel completely their own, whether that means candlelit winter weddings, dogs walking down the aisle, packed dancefloors or cocktails in the courtyard at sunset.
​
More than anything, we just want people to feel at home here and part of the Dodmoor family.

Mark & Louise
Mark & Louise are the husband and wife duo behind Dodmoor House!
They converted the barns from scratch, as they wanted to create a stylish venue, where couples can have the day of their dreams.
Ever since, they have put their heart and soul into making Dodmoor an award-winning venue.

Carolyn
Carolyn is the longest serving member of staff, starting part time at the age of just 16 (when Dodmoor first opened!) and she has coordinated weddings here for more than a decade, she has many great stories to tell.
Carolyn even got married here herself in July 2017.
Her cheerful smile lights up the office!

Shona
Shona is a wedding coordinator and the operations guru who makes sure everything works around the venue!
She had her own wonderful wedding here at Dodmoor in September 2019. It was one of the sunniest September days ever!
There was Mexican food and a saxophonist. A great mix for a wedding day, if you ask us.
Kara
Kara is a wedding coordinator & also in charge of all things social!
Kara is always complimenting guests' outfits & loves all bridal wear!

Kara is a massive car enthusiast! She takes great pride in her beloved car and loves watching the F1. She loves it when couples bring their own special cars to their weddings.
Eleanor
Eleanor is a wedding coordinator here at Dodmoor HQ and you will often find her creating our real life wedding stories or marketing.​
​
When Eleanor isn't working, she is usually either at a concert (she's been to 28 so far!) or planning her next party... usually whilst sat on the sofa with her new puppy- Bridget.
Beth - rai
Is a wedding coordinator & also our hotel allocation deal partnerships.

When she isn't relaxing at home with her two dogs Remy & Rue, she is out exploring!
​
So far she has done a bungee-jump, ghyll scrambling, canyoning, coasteering, zip wires, white water rafting and plummets. Her next adventure is a shark dive!
Chloe
Chloe is a wedding coordinator, who is also in charge of our amazing open evenings!
Chloe has so many amazing birds at home. Two of these are Macaws, alongside a selection of smaller birds.
Joanna
Having worked in marketing/events in London, Joanna knows all about life at Dodmoor, having grown up there as Mark & Louise’s daughter!
She used to watch weddings out of her bedroom window & now she gets to bring them to life herself.
Outside work, she is besotted with her sausage dog Mila and ran the London Marathon last year!
Abi
Abi is a Wedding Coordinator here at Dodmoor. With a career in events & weddings, she thrives on the happiness & emotion that each wedding day brings.
Abi has recently moved into her first home with her boyfriend & their mischievous cat, Raggy. When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her tackling home improvements (trying to at least!) or heading out with friends.
Katie
Katie is one of our evening managers. When she isn't encouraging guests onto the dancefloor, she can be found at the bar serving drinks.
She loves getting to know your guests and will always ensure they get home safely!

When she is not supervising your party she loves to throw parties of her own!
Robyn
Robyn is our Deputy Operations Manager & an evening manager, who also helps to make sure everything is running smoothly on your day.

She helps Shona with all things operations, ensuring the venue is always looking its best!
​​
Robyn was in the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery for eight years... this would explain her amazing attention to detail!

Sophie
Sophie is a wedding coordinator who helps with the marketing and exciting Dodmoor Blogs.
She got engaged in New Zealand at the top of the Remarkables and married in October 2021!
Beci
Beci has been a wedding coordinator here since 2007; alongside organising weddings, she has been involved in private catering in a short break from Dodmoor, but we're glad she's back!

Beci also got married at Dodmoor in December 2017!
Cheryl
You may never meet Cheryl in person, but she is such an important member of Dodmoor as she runs our accounts department!​
​​
Cheryl's husband is Italian, so she has learned to cook traditional Sicilian food.
​
In her spare time she loves to bake, Cheryl is known to bring the office a sweet treat on a Monday - which is always a huge hit!
