We would like to thank the 51 couples who voted for us in the Wrapit Wedding Industry Awards 2008 – leading to Dodmoor House being named as the best venue in the Midlands.

As a result of their votes, Dodmoor House went forward with Woburn Abbey and three other regional winners to the final, which was held at Claridges Hotel in London.

Burghley House in Lincolnshire was named as the overall national winners, with the judges commenting on the high standard of entries received.

Owners Mark and Louise Bradley said: “We were overwhelmed by the response of everyone who voted for us and we’re so thankful to them.

"This is a great achievement for a relatively new business and shows there is still room for the personal touch in the wedding industry.”
